# Update a card

Changes a card's fields, such as its list, due date, members or archived state, and returns the updated card.

Set `idList` to move the card to another list, `due` to change its due date, and `closed` to archive it. Parameters can go in the query string or a JSON body.

Use the first option your agent supports.

Before doing anything else, make one read-only call to confirm access.

## Rules

- Ask the user before anything that sends messages, costs money, or changes data.
- Never print API keys.
