# Create a card

Creates a card in a list, with an optional description, due date, members and labels, and returns the card.

`idList` is required. Parameters can go in the query string or a JSON body.

## Set up

Use the first option your agent supports.

- Base URL: https://api.trello.com/1
- Endpoint: `POST /cards`
- Auth: OAuth; sign in when the agent asks

Before doing anything else, make one read-only call to confirm access.

## Rules

- Ask the user before anything that sends messages, costs money, or changes data.
- Never print API keys.
