# Send a campaign

Sends a campaign to its recipients right away; an RSS campaign sends on its schedule instead.

Review `GET /campaigns/{campaign_id}/send-checklist` first and resolve what
it lists; `POST /campaigns/{campaign_id}/actions/test` sends a test email.
Confirm the campaign and its audience with the user before sending.

## Set up

Use the first option your agent supports.

- Auth: send the header `Authorization: Bearer $MAILCHIMP_API_KEY`

Before doing anything else, make one read-only call to confirm access.

## Rules

- Ask the user before anything that sends messages, costs money, or changes data.
- Never print API keys.
