# Get a video

Returns a Loom video's metadata and, on request, its transcript, comments, AI brief, meeting action items or attached links.

A primary tool, always listed. Ask only for the parts you need, such as the
transcript of a demo or a prospect's feedback video to summarize before a
follow-up. It runs as the signed-in user, inside their Loom permissions.

## Set up

Use the first option your agent supports.
