# Outreach

AI platform for revenue teams to work prospects and accounts, run sequences and forecast deals.

Outreach is a sales engagement and revenue platform: reps work prospects and
accounts, enroll prospects in multi-step sequences, and track opportunities,
recorded meetings and forecasts. Its hosted MCP server searches, creates and
deletes those records and answers questions about accounts and opportunities,
signing in with OAuth 2.1 as the Outreach user. It needs the Amplify add-on,
an admin must switch it on under Administration > Organization > Org Info, and
create tools are on while delete tools are off until the admin allows them.

The REST API follows JSON:API 1.0: send `Content-Type: application/vnd.api+json`
and a bearer token from an Outreach app's OAuth 2.0 flow. It is rate limited to
10,000 requests per hour per user.

## Tools

- tool:outreach/add-prospects-to-sequence — Add prospects to a sequence: Enrolls one or more prospects in an Outreach sequence, sending from the mailbox you choose, and returns the status of the batch.
- tool:outreach/ask-account-question — Ask a question about an account: Answers a plain-language question about one Outreach account from its records, call transcripts and related data, and saves the question and answer in Outreach.
- tool:outreach/create-account — Create an account: Creates an account, the company record that groups prospects in Outreach, from a name, domain and other company fields, and returns its id.
- tool:outreach/create-prospect — Create a prospect: Creates a prospect, the person record Outreach sequences and tasks act on, from a name, emails, title and company, and returns its id.
- tool:outreach/search-prospects — Search prospects: Returns Outreach prospects that match filters such as name, account, owner or stage, with their emails, title and engagement counts.
