# Instantly

Automated email outreach with a B2B lead database, deliverability tools and an AI-powered CRM.

Instantly runs cold email outreach: it connects and warms up sending
accounts, sends campaigns with sequences and subsequences, finds leads in its
SuperSearch B2B lead database, verifies email addresses, and keeps replies in
its Unibox inbox and CRM. API v2 takes a workspace API key as a Bearer token;
each key carries scopes, every path starts with `/api/v2`, and the workspace
shares a limit of 100 requests per second and 6,000 per minute. The
`instantly` CLI reads the same key from `INSTANTLY_API_KEY`.

Instantly also hosts an MCP server at `https://mcp.instantly.ai/mcp` with a
tool for every API v2 endpoint, named like `list_campaigns` or `create_lead`.
It authenticates with the API key in the `Authorization` header, and
`instantly mcp` runs a local MCP server from the CLI.

## Tools

- tool:instantly/add-leads-to-campaign — Add leads to a campaign: Adds up to 1,000 leads to one Instantly campaign or lead list, checking their emails against blocklists and existing leads.
- tool:instantly/import-supersearch-leads — Import leads from SuperSearch: Adds the people matching a SuperSearch query to an Instantly lead list, creating the list if needed, and enriches them with work emails or LinkedIn profiles as you ask.
- tool:instantly/reply-to-email — Reply to an email: Sends a reply to an email in an Instantly inbox from one of the workspace's connected sending accounts.
- tool:instantly/search-people — Search people: Returns people from Instantly's SuperSearch lead database who match filters such as job title, department, level, location, industry or employee count, without their email addresses.
- tool:instantly/verify-email — Verify an email address: Checks whether one email address is deliverable and returns verified, invalid or pending, whether its domain is catch-all, and the credits used.
