# Figma

The collaborative canvas where teams design, prototype and build products.

Figma is a browser-based design tool for interfaces and prototypes, with FigJam for whiteboards and Figma Slides for decks. Its remote MCP server reads designs and writes to Design, FigJam and Slides files; the REST API reads files and renders their layers as images.

## Tools

- tool:figma/edit-design — Create or edit a design: Creates, edits, deletes or inspects frames, components, text, images, variables and styles in a Figma Design, FigJam or Slides file.
- tool:figma/export-images — Export images: Renders frames or layers from a file as PNG, JPG, SVG or PDF and returns temporary URLs to download them.
- tool:figma/upload-images — Upload images: Places PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP images of up to 10 MB into a Figma file, as a fill on a given layer or in new frames.
