# Canva

Online visual suite for designing presentations, social posts, videos and other marketing assets.

Canva is an online visual communication and collaboration platform. Its MCP
server lets an AI assistant generate, edit, search and export a user's
designs; its REST APIs, also reachable through `canva api` in the Canva CLI,
let an app create, autofill, resize and export designs on the user's behalf.
Both act as a signed-in Canva user, and some calls need a paid Canva plan.

## Tools

- tool:canva/autofill-design — Autofill a brand template: Starts a job that creates a design from a brand template, or updates a design in place, filling its text, image and chart fields with your data.
- tool:canva/export-design — Export a design: Starts a job that exports a design as PDF, PNG, JPG, GIF, PPTX, MP4 or HTML and returns download links that expire.
- tool:canva/generate-design — Generate a design: Generates design candidates from a natural-language brief and returns each candidate's id, preview link and thumbnails.
- tool:canva/resize-design — Resize a design: Starts a job that creates a resized copy of a design at a preset design type or a custom width and height.
