# Amplitude

Behavioral analytics across the funnel.

Amplitude is an AI analytics platform that tracks what users do in a product
and turns it into engagement, retention and revenue insights. Its MCP server
queries analytics, user activity and cohorts with your Amplitude permissions;
the `amp` CLI and the Developer API behind it manage projects, taxonomy and
feature flags and query saved charts. Projects with EU data residency use
`https://mcp.eu.amplitude.com/mcp`.

## Tools

- tool:amplitude/create-cohort — Create and sync a cohort: Creates or reads a cohort of users, checks membership, exports it as CSV, or syncs it to a destination such as Braze, Iterable or a webhook.
- tool:amplitude/get-user-activity — Get user activity: Returns user profiles, user properties and activity timelines from an Amplitude project.
- tool:amplitude/query-analytics — Query product analytics: Runs an ad-hoc event segmentation, funnel or retention query and returns the results.
- tool:amplitude/query-chart — Query a saved chart: Returns the computed results of a saved event segmentation, sessions, funnel or retention chart for a time range.
